I am attending Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Broadway Musical “Cinderella” tomorrow evening with my husband–so excited! The best part is that it’s another opportunity to dress up. Yay! What I love most about it is daydreaming about the perfect outfit, maybe even more so than actually wearing it at the event. I have a few outfits I thought of…bought this cute denim dress from Old Navy which I haven’t worn yet. I am planning on styling it with a red or mint skinny belt. For footwear I plan to wear either olive colored booties, brown tall boots, or nude Madden Girl pumps. If it is too cold out I might add some dark blue tights.

It would be really bold of me to wear this new plain yellow sari from Utsav Fashion I bought a while ago that I still have not had an opportunity to wear. I would add either a black halter blouse or a sleeveless multi-colored brocade one. I am obsessed with saris and would wear them on most days of the week if I could. I always feel a little uncomfortable wearing a sari even to Indian events, because it seems like its popularity is dying out; so unfortunate. Some big dangling black and gold earrings and a pair of nude Madden Girl pumps would look awesome with it. When I bought the shoes initially I had the idea of wearing them with a sari. It would totally add even more elegance.

Another option of what I could wear are these Mossimo black leather skinnies with a light pink H&M printed top. And the Madden Girl pumps would be perfect with this outfit. I never imagined the nude pumps would be so versatile!
